However, the Bingham County Sheriff's Office says that it did not receive any calls from residents about Sunday night's alleged blast.
This is in stark contrast to the explosion that several Groveland residents reported to the Sheriff's Office on Wednesday afternoon. Those reports prompted sheriff's deputies, Blackfoot fire units and Idaho State Police to respond to Groveland to find what blew up. But their search of the area turned up nothing. Riverside is located about three miles west of Blackfoot, while Groveland is about two miles northwest of Blackfoot. Riverside and Groveland have about 850 residents each. Because no one reported Sunday night's explosion to the Sheriff's Office it's unclear if the incident is going to be investigated. When contacted Friday about the Wednesday explosion, the Sheriff's Office had no leads on what caused the blast. Dozens of Groveland and Riverside residents have commented about the explosions on social media. Stay with idahostatejournal.com for updates. Source: CNSnews.com
By Penny Starr (CNSNews.com) – Planned Parenthood clinics did 327,653 abortions in its fiscal year 2014 (which ran from July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014), according to Planned Parenthood Federation of America’s newly released annual report. That works out to an average of 37 abortions per hour or nearly 1 every 90 seconds. Planned Parenthood also received $528.4 million from government grants and reimbursements, which equaled 41 percent of its revenue. The federal government is prohibited from paying directly for abortions through Title X family planning grants and reimbursements, however, federal funds do pay for Planned Parenthood operations, including the clinics where abortions are performed. The 327,653 abortions Planned Parenthood reports that it did in its organizational fiscal 2014 exceeds by 487 the number of abortions it did the previous year. The report also reveals that Planned Parenthood actually provided fewer contraceptives -- 3,577,348 patients in fiscal 2014 compared to 3,724,558 in fiscal 2013. According the latest 990 form filed with the IRS for 2013, Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards’ base compensation was $396,138. Including retirement funds and other benefits, Richards’ total compensation was $492,200. A statement from one young woman, cited only as “Shireen” in the report but accompanied by a photo, says: “Birth control has changed my life. It has allowed me to attend college, travel and be a working woman. I get my birth control at Planned Parenthood because it is accessible and affordable, and because Planned Parenthood advocates for women like me – a young woman of color – every day.”
Friatider (h/t Alain) In the Facebook group, which is a closed group, there were many tributes to the terrorists who murdered 12 people in Paris today. “Ask Allah to multiply such attacks and accept siblings involved in such things,” writes one person in the group. Also on Free Tider’s Facebook page was during the afternoon and evening several Muslims who expressed their delight at the macabre scenes in Paris. One of them writes that:“he longs for a genocide of Swedes.” “I hope they come to Sweden o execute half the population,” he writes, among other things, in one of his comments as “gillats” of four other Muslims. The comments have now been removed from the Free Tider’s Facebook page and during the evening notified to the Security Service.
Daubenmire is hosting a prayer vigil on Saturday alongside the Rev. Rusty Thomas of Operation Save America and Pastor Bill Dunfee of New Beginnings Church in Warsaw.
The billboards are sponsored by a group called "Ask a Muslim," based in Columbus, which says that it is dedicated to educating people about Islam. "We believe that clearing up the many misconceptions about Islam will make this world a better place. A place with less violence and hatred, filled with mutual respect and understanding," the group says. The group argues on its website that Muslims are actually Christians, if "Christian" is taken to mean someone following the teachings of Christ. "Muslims are following the teachings of Jesus, while most Christians have began to follow the Church – this is why the Quran needed to be revealed. (Holy Quran 9:31)," the website states, and offers that there is a connection between Jesus and Muhammad in the Bible. "Please remember Islam = following Jesus. Muhammad confirmed Jesus," it adds. Requests for comment and further clarification from "Ask a Muslim" by The Christian Post were not returned by the time of press. Through the prayer vigil, Daubenmire is hoping to make clear that Jesus Christ is not a Muslim.
