A major new report, published today in the journal The New Atlantis, challenges the leading narratives that the media has pushed regarding sexual orientation and gender identity.
Co-authored by two of the nation’s leading scholars on mental health and sexuality, the 143-page report discusses over 200 peer-reviewed studies in the biological, psychological, and social sciences, painstakingly documenting what scientific research shows and does not show about sexuality and gender.
The major takeaway, as the editor of the journal explains, is that “some of the most frequently heard claims about sexuality and gender are not supported by scientific evidence.”

In the aftermath of the horrific shootings by an Islamic terrorist at a Florida nightclub over the weekend, the blame game has erupted, with some pointing their fingers directly at … Christians.
“Islamic extremists kill LGBT people,” said one social media post. “Christian and Jewish extremists just drive us to commit suicide.”
The Washington Times also noted that American Civil Liberties Union lawyer Chase Strangio said the “Christian right” is at fault for pursuing “anti-LGBT bills.”

Billionaire media mogul Oprah Winfrey has launched a new television miniseries that looks at the faith and spirituality of various religions. The seven-part series, titled “Belief,” is showing on seven consecutive nights on Oprah’s channel OWN, from Oct. 18 through Oct. 24.
Though the series has been hailed by critics, earning an enthusiastic write-up in the liberal-leaning The Atlantic, it is not without its detractors.
The Rev. Franklin Graham took exception to Oprah’s seemingly pluralistic view of spirituality, that there are “millions of ways” to get to God.

Not all of us will be mourning 9/11 victims and their families this Friday on the 14th anniversary of the attacks. Hundreds of college kids across the country will instead be taught to sympathize with the terrorists.
That’s because their America-hating leftist professors are systematically indoctrinating them into believing it’s all our fault, that the US deserved punishment for “imperialism” — and the kids are too young to remember or understand what really happened that horrific day.

A new Pew Research Center survey found the Christian share of the American population declined almost 8 percentage points from 2007 to 2014. Drawing from this point, many continued their breathless claims that the Christian sky is falling.
Rather than predict the impending doom of the church in America, this latest study affirms what many researchers have said before. Christianity isn't collapsing; it's being clarified. Churches aren't emptying; rather, those who were Christian in name only are now categorically identifying their lack of Christian conviction and engagement.
On CBN News Sunday, May 17: Is the church in America dying out or is the church on the brink of revival? Find out what the church needs to know about the state of Christianity in the U.S.
