Muslims in Iraq are demanding money from the Christians there, but when the Christians say that they don’t have money, the Muslims steal their wives. This type of violence is happening in the Christian village of Qaraqosh. A local shoekeeper said:
They killed the Christians. They took money from them, and if they don’t have money, they took their wives… We are scared and afraid.
But a number of Christian men in the area have decided to from their own security force. They have taken Ak-47s and decided to fight off the Muslims and protect their churches, setting up a security permitter
around the New Church of the Immaculate, the largest church in Iraq.
One of the Christian militants said with much valiancy and fortitude:
It is our duty to protect the Church… There are enemies all around us, Muslims who would like to take our land.

The European Court of Human Rights has upheld a ban in France on wearing the Muslim full-face veil - the niqab.
French law says nobody can wear in a public space clothing intended to conceal the face. The penalty for doing so can be a 150-euro fine (£120; $205).
A case was brought by a 24-year-old French woman, who argued that the ban on wearing the veil in public violated her freedom of religion and expression.

A conservative think tank’s panel on the Benghazi attack of 2012 erupted into applause this week when one of its members fielded a question from a Muslim law student with a scathing shredding of politically correct blindness.
During the discussion Monday at the Heritage Foundation in Washington, a Muslim American woman asked how the war on terror could be won “with bullets” when it’s a battle over ideology – and whether the idea of “war” was even correct in the first place, given that the majority of the world’s Muslims are not hijacking airplanes, kidnapping civilians or otherwise attacking Western civilization.

BRUNSWICK, Me. — For 40 years, evangelicals at Bowdoin College have gathered periodically to study the Bible together, to pray and to worship. They are a tiny minority on the liberal arts college campus, but they have been a part of the school’s community, gathering in the chapel, the dining center, the dorms.
After this summer, the Bowdoin Christian Fellowship will no longer be recognized by the college. Already, the college has disabled the electronic key cards of the group’s longtime volunteer advisers.
