Kevin, by his own admission, is not a Christian. “Something made me visit that church,” he told me. “I’m not sure what it was, but I know now it was a big mistake.” Kevin told me how he one day on a whim decided to go to a business meeting in the church he had visited for four weeks. He also told me how he was “blown away” by the petty disagreements and harsh language in the meeting. He was saddened to listen to one man speak in deep anger to someone else. That man was his small group leader. “I felt like I was at a playground fight with six-year olds,” he told us. “Boy did I make a mistake visiting a church.”

JERUSALEM, ISRAEL (Worthy News)– About a dozen Jewish men were removed by police while touring the Temple Mount after praying and singing Monday, according to The Jewish Daily Forward. Recent polls show Christian teenagers are turning away from the church – and some believe unfulfilling youth groups and parents' over-dependence on them may have something to do with it. According to a survey sponsored by the US-based National Center for Family-Integrated Churches (NCFIC), 55% of American Christians are concerned that modern youth ministry is shallow and too entertainment focused. Over a third (37%) even agreed that youth group programmes are not actually biblical. Pastor Norman Hayes of Bridge Community Church in North Hampton says that following the church service, James Maxie, 28, and his girlfriend came to talk to Hayes.
