"Allah bless us and bless our families and bless our Lord. Lead us on the straight path - the path of all prophets: Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad."
These were the words that rang out over the congregation at The General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church, USA meeting in Portland, Oregon. Wajidi Said, co-founder of the Muslim Education Trust, led the attendees in the prayer to the Islamic deity, a move arranged by the Ecumenical and Interfaith ministry staff at the assembly.
The prayer was part of the "first order of business" during the meeting's opening session, a time dedicated to praying for those affected by the Orlando shooting that occurred just weeks before.

The taxpayer-funded guide — entitled “Career corner: Understanding microaggressions” — also identifies golf outings and the words “boyfriend” and “girlfriend” as microagressions.

“Islamic extremists kill LGBT people,” said one social media post. “Christian and Jewish extremists just drive us to commit suicide.”
The Washington Times also noted that American Civil Liberties Union lawyer Chase Strangio said the “Christian right” is at fault for pursuing “anti-LGBT bills.”

Last week, Huffington Post blogger Suzanne DeWitt Hall penned an argument claiming that based on literal interpretations of the Bible, Jesus was the first transgender man and Eve was the first transgender woman.
Hall frames her column around the issue of transgender bathroom access and complains about Christians who view gender as a biological fact, not a mental construct.

Everything bad in the world comes from or is tied to Christianity, alleged one speaker at this weekend’s White Privilege conference in Philadelphia, according to the Daily Caller News Foundation.
Activist and author Paul Kivel told the conference that everything from racism and sexism to weakening economies and global warming stem from the ideology of “Christian hegemony.” Essentially, Kivel said all things that are bad in the world evolved from Christian ideals.

Not all of us will be mourning 9/11 victims and their families this Friday on the 14th anniversary of the attacks. Hundreds of college kids across the country will instead be taught to sympathize with the terrorists.
That’s because their America-hating leftist professors are systematically indoctrinating them into believing it’s all our fault, that the US deserved punishment for “imperialism” — and the kids are too young to remember or understand what really happened that horrific day.
