On Sunday for the first time ever the readings from Quran will be heard at the Vatican. This move was initiated by the Pope Francis in order to bring peace between Israelis and Palestinians.
During his visit last week to Jordan Israel, and the Palestinian Authority, Pope Francis invited Israeli President Shimon Peres and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.
Peres’s spokesperson has announced in Times of Israel that Abbas, Peres, and Pope Francis will be joined by Jewish, Christian and Islamic religious leaders.
According to the officials, these evening prayers would be a “pause in politics” and have no political aim behind it other than the desire to bring peace and respect to the Israeli-Palestinian relations, states the Associated Press.
The Vatican will broadcast the event worldwide through the official website.

The Satanic Temple in Orange County, Florida, is planning to hand out satanic "children activity books" at some schools.
The group is distributing the material as a response to the school district allowing a Christian group to leave Bibles, saying their whole point is to counter biblical indoctrination.
"It's far better philosophically for us and we feel for the students, that they see there is a multiplicity of voices and that there's many voices and choices," Lucien Greaves, spokesperson for the Satanic Temple, said.
Seriously, the Jezebel chick really said it. Watch for yourself. May God have mercy on her and her wussy husband.

Washington (CNN) -- The truck was loaded with munitions, then driven up a hillside in northern Syria. Moments later, there was a massive blast followed by cries of "Allahu Akbar," or "God is great" in Arabic, and the rattling of gunfire.
What made this suicide bombing stand out was not that it happened -- as such attacks have become fairly commonplace in war-torn Syria -- but the identity of one of the men who carried out.
He was American.

French full veil ban upheld by European Court of Human Rights
The European Court of Human Rights has upheld a ban in France on wearing the Muslim full-face veil - the niqab.
French law says nobody can wear in a public space clothing intended to conceal the face. The penalty for doing so can be a 150-euro fine (£120; $205).
A case was brought by a 24-year-old French woman, who argued that the ban on wearing the veil in public violated her freedom of religion and expression.
Bridget Kendall reports.
A Kentucky woman has been fired from her position at U.S. Bank for telling clients to “have a blessed day.” Polly Neace, a bank teller for over 20 years, is now filing suit against the bank for unlawful termination.
According to Christian Today, Neace had been warned by management several times before her termination; she received her first warning in 2011, along with a Code of Ethics violation.
The violation read, "Effective immediately you will no longer discuss the subject of faith or religionwith customers and co-workers alike.”

CHRISTIANS are outraged that the birth of Jesus Christ will no longer be cited when recording dates under the new national history curriculum.
High school students will not use the terms BC (Before Christ) and AD (Anno Domini) when referencing dates.
Although history dates won't change, with textbooks still using the birth of Christ as the change point, they will use the neutral terms BCE (Before Common Era), BP (Before Present) and CE (Common Era).
Archbishop of Sydney Peter Jensen said yesterday that removing BC and AD from the curriculum was an "intellectually absurd attempt to write Christ out of human history".
