By: Peter Hasson The University of California Santa Barbara has published a “Homosexuality and Religion” guide, detailing how to reconcile one’s faith with homosexual behavior. The guide, which is part of the Sociology Department’s “ Sex Info Online” website, is full of life advice such as “[i]t is 100% possible to be devout and sexually active.”

By Paul Sperry September 6, 2015 | 6:00am Not all of us will be mourning 9/11 victims and their families this Friday on the 14th anniversary of the attacks. Hundreds of college kids across the country will instead be taught to sympathize with the terrorists. That’s because their America-hating leftist professors are systematically indoctrinating them into believing it’s all our fault, that the US deserved punishment for “imperialism” — and the kids are too young to remember or understand what really happened that horrific day. Americans warned, 'Get off of Facebook, turn off the TV, and educate yourself' Source: WND
Author:PBREMMER Public education in America today is almost the opposite of education, according to an education expert who calls the nation’s schooling “indoctrination.” “This isn’t some kind of huge national accident that all these legions of Ph.D experts and all these legions of committees and the U.S. Department of Education – it’s not that they’re just incompetent fools and don’t know what they’re doing,” said international journalist and educator Alex Newman. “They want the system to be doing what it’s doing, and that is destroying real education.” Real education, according to Newman, means developing knowledgeable, well-rounded Americans who can think critically, process information, make good decisions, support themselves and serve the needs of society. In other words, real education produces productive members of a capitalist society.
The Fairfax County Public school board recently approved lessons about homosexuality and gender identity in its Family Life Education curriculum.
The board approved the controversial lessons in a 10-2 vote June 25. According the Fairfax County School board website, "The early elementary program emphasizes the importance of families, distinction between good and bad touch, sources of help, and the importance of friendships. Human sexuality is first introduced in grade four."
The Good News Club, affiliated with Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF), is offered as an after school program at Fairbanks Elementary School in Churchville. Parents grant permission for their children to attend the club, which teaches lessons from the Bible using music, games and other activities.
“Our ministry is dedicated to helping children in 150 countries around the world to know God and learn from the Bible,” a permission slip from the organization reads. However, when local atheists found out about the program, they decided to launch an after school group of their own for children. The Better News Club is now offering the program Young Skeptics to elementary school students, likewise with the permission of parents.

Author: Jason Howerton A mother in Union County, North Carolina, told WJZY-TV that her son, a freshman at Porter Ridge High School, brought home a worksheet on Islam containing some questionable answers. She was upset enough over the assignment that she contacted the school and her local news station after reviewing the material. The sentence that bothered the mom the most stated, “Most Muslims’ faith is stronger than the average Christian.” Read some of the other answers from the world history assignment below: Source: Yahoo News
Millions of students in public schools don’t understand fractions or pronouns at even a basic level but students in the oceanfront Boston suburb of Revere, Mass. are taking the time to learn all about Islam — in the most embarrassingly shallow and cheerleading way imaginable. Part of the textbook prints the Muslim Call to Prayer, according to Boston NBC affiliate WHDH. “I bear witness that there is no God but Allah,” it says. The textbook portion also reverently celebrates Muhammad’s life. “Muhammad never expected to change world,” the admiring, rah-rah textbook reads. “Muhammad later tended sheep on the dry hills like many young Arabians,” the text explains. “Later he became a successful merchant and married a wealthy widow. However, he felt as though something was missing in his life, so he went on a retreat.” The founder of Islam was “upset about the cruelty of his people,” the text also optimistically explains. They “killed baby girls.” They “treated their slaves unkindly.” And “Muhammad had a strong sense of right and wrong.” One local parent, Anthony Giannino, is upset about the textbook’s treatment of the Muslim religion. |
