In the old Testament, the inability to have a child was not regarded as a defect or illness, rather a decision of God. In many cases infertility was a judgement, in other times, simply the will of God.

In Modern times, technology has enabled us to fertalize eggs, implant eggs, chose the sex of the child, abort the baby if too many are created (Fetal Reduction) and a whole host of other procedures. 
So, are infertility tratments a gift of God or Man playing God and defying the will of God?!
