Don't tell me you have never seen "To Save a Life"!! Well...if you haven't, you can see it for free at: FREE CHRISTIAN MOVIES synopsis: Jake becomes a Christian. However, things begin to spin out of control. His dad is cheating on his mom, his girlfriend is pregnant, and his former friends ridicule and mock him. During all this, Jake is going to realize just what it means to be a Christian and how, to save a life. As Christians, we debate and pontificate on many matters. is there a Rapture? If so, when does it occur? Can you lose your salvation? and the list goes on and on and on. But, are these questions that really matter? Why does it matter if there is a rapture? If you are living a life in Christ and are his child, you will go, and if there isn't one, God will keep you and get you through the bad times. Can you lose your salvation? again, what does it matter, if you are living your life for Christ and are his child.? so, what are some valid things to ponder? How about, what are you doing to serve others? To feed the poor, take care of the widows, and most importantly share your faith! What can we be doing to get closer to God and to live a more holy life? These are the questions that TRULY Matter. Paul summed it up quite nicely in 1 Corinthians 2:2 when he stated " For I determined not to know anything among you, except Jesus Christ, and him crucified." A new type of Christian talk show with point of view on various topic, ranging from headline news to evangelism. With evangelism we have live or pre-recorded conversations. We want to step away from Christian conservative point of view, while focusing on reality and Debate Christian issues. TUESDAY NIGHTS AT 9 PM EST! "Then He said (to Elijah), "Go out, and stand on the mountain before the Lord." And behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake; and after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire; and after the fire a still small voice."--1 Kings 19:11,12 Going through trials is never fun. At times it feels like the storm is never ending and that it will never subside. When we go through tough times, it becomes very difficult to see beyond the current situation. But life is like a puzzle. When you look at one individual piece, it is hard to envision the finished product. Think about how hard it is to put together that puzzle if you don't have the picture of the final result. Our lives are just like that, except that God is seeing the completed picture of our lives, and he is carefully assembling the pieces. When we are engulfed in our daily lives, we tend to lose sight of important things. We sometimes lose sight of our relationship with God, and go on about our lives without effectively communicating with him, or relying on him to direct our paths. So as illustrated in the verses above, he will allow the strong winds and earthquakes to come. Then when we are finally on our knees,he will speak to us in that still small voice. Sometimes, we need to be shaken up and broken to hear God's voice and to seek his direction. Romans 5:3-4 states ,"we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope." God allows these trials and tribulations to form character in us, to mold us into better people, and to build more Christ-like traits in us. No matter what happens, we know that God is in control, and that he has only our best in mind. For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11) Going through trials or hardship? Lift your eyes toward Heaven, ask the Lord for strength, wisdom and grace. Remember, the Lord wants us to "Be still and know that I am GOD". |
