Published Saturday, the article by Sara McCammon found that liberal Catholics in America may have finally found their mascot in Joe Biden.
“For those who would like to see the church take a more permissive stance on issues including abortion, Biden’s election is an opportunity,” wrote McCammon. “Polling suggests a majority of American Catholics support abortion rights in most or all cases and oppose overturning Roe v. Wade, the 1973 U.S. Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion nationwide. According to the Guttmacher Institute, a research group that supports abortion rights, most Catholic women say they’ve used contraception at some point, which the church also opposes,” she added.

Author: MICHAEL SNYDER/END OF THE AMERICAN DREAM Source: Prophecy News Watch If you cherish faith, family and freedom, you might want to keep a low profile for a while. The Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act of 2021 has been unveiled in Congress, and it has bipartisan support. It is essentially "the Patriot Act on steroids", and we are being told that it is almost certain that some version of the legislation will make it to Biden's desk for him to sign.
Though reversing restrictions on abortion access was not among more than a dozen executive actions signed by President Joe Biden on his first day in office, it’s only a matter of time before the new administration follows through on its pro-choice platform.
The first black lieutenant governor in North Carolina’s history urged pro-lifers during a rally this month to continue speaking out for the unborn, saying their activism is similar to the abolitionists’ fight against slavery in the 1700s and 1800s.
Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson, a Republican, made the comments during the annual Rally and March for Life Jan. 16, which was held exactly one week after he took the oath office. Robinson won election in November with 51 percent of the vote. He told the pro-lifers at the rally that “life begins in the womb.” “If we do not purge abortion from our shores for the cause of life the same way we purged slavery for the cause of liberty, this nation will not continue to stand,” Robinson said. Abortion, he said, is a moral evil like slavery. He also compared pro-lifers to the abolitionists of yesteryear. The family of a 13-year-old sexual assault victim plans to ask the Supreme Court of India to allow her to abort her late-term unborn baby.
Authorities said the young girl from Goregaon, India is in shock about the pregnancy and has not spoken about how the sexual assault occurred, according to The Hindu. Abortions are illegal after 20 weeks of pregnancy in India. However, women increasingly have been petitioning the high court for permission to abort their late-term unborn babies because of fetal abnormalities. Some families of young rape victims also have made requests to the high court. The girl’s parents took her to the doctor recently after they noticed that she was gaining weight rapidly, the report states. Doctors discovered that she was pregnant, currently about 27 weeks, One News India reports. During the Oct. 19 debate, Trump exposed the brutal nature of late-term abortions and the extremism of pro-abortion challenger Hillary Clinton, who supports late-term and partial-birth abortions up until birth. “I think it’s terrible if you go with what Hillary is saying in the ninth month you can take the baby and rip the baby out of the womb of the mother just prior to the birth of the baby. Now you can say that that’s okay and Hillary can say that that’s okay, but it’s not okay with me,” Trump said. The Rev. Dr. Amy Butler responded to Trump’s comments in a column for USA Today this week, explaining why she chose a late-term abortion for her daughter. READ MORE HERE Source: CNSNews.com

By: MICAIAH BILGER Many Judeo-Christian leaders speak out against abortion, but the few who advocate for abortion often are the ones who get the most media attention. On Monday in Kentucky, pro-abortion clergy held a rally at the State Capitol to advocate for abortion and other issues, the State-Journal reports. The event was called the Higher Ground Moral Day of Action, and it was held in conjunction with other rallies nation-wide.
