Having to prove the existence of God to an atheist is like having to prove the existence of the sun, at noon on a clear day. Yet millions are embracing the foolishness of atheism. “The Atheist Delusion” pulls back the curtain and reveals what is going on in the mind of those who deny the obvious. It introduces you to a number of atheists who you will follow as they go where the evidence leads, find a roadblock, and enter into a place of honesty that is rarely seen on film.
From Living Waters, creators of the award-winning TV program “The Way of the Master” and the hit movies “180” and “Evolution vs. God,” comes the powerful film “The Atheist Delusion.” Executive produced by TV co-host and best-selling author Ray Comfort (Hell’s Best Kept Secret, Scientific Facts in the Bible). By: BOB UNRUH In the aftermath of the horrific shootings by an Islamic terrorist at a Florida nightclub over the weekend, the blame game has erupted, with some pointing their fingers directly at … Christians. “Islamic extremists kill LGBT people,” said one social media post. “Christian and Jewish extremists just drive us to commit suicide.” The Washington Times also noted that American Civil Liberties Union lawyer Chase Strangio said the “Christian right” is at fault for pursuing “anti-LGBT bills.” Read more at http://www.wnd.com/2016/06/massacre-solved-its-fault-of-christians/#uxhbZhbhFE0jXJxm.99 Source: The Blaze
By: Chris Enloe Everything bad in the world comes from or is tied to Christianity, alleged one speaker at this weekend’s White Privilege conference in Philadelphia, according to the Daily Caller News Foundation. Activist and author Paul Kivel told the conference that everything from racism and sexism to weakening economies and global warming stem from the ideology of “Christian hegemony.” Essentially, Kivel said all things that are bad in the world evolved from Christian ideals. By: Ken Ham Many of the modern battles against Christianity are being waged in government-run schools. All across America, secularists throw around the phrase “separation of church and state” (a phrase which, by the way, is not found in the US Constitution) and insist that any mention in schools of Christianity, the Bible, or even Intelligent Design is somehow a violation. And all the while their religions of humanism and atheism (which are belief systems about our world) are being openly and often exclusively taught in the public school system. Can a minister in a Christian church be an atheist? That’s the question facing the United church of Canada as it wrestles with the case of Gretta Vosper Source: The Guardian
By: Ashifa Kassam There is not one mention of God during the 70-minute service at Toronto’s West Hill United church. Bibles are nowhere to be seen. The large steel cross – one of the few remaining religious symbols in this church – is hidden behind a cascade of rainbow streamers. But that is perhaps to be expected in a church led by an avowed atheist. Source: Associated Press
BY: HILLEL ITALIE NEW YORK (AP) -- On the latest list of books most objected to at public schools and libraries, one title has been targeted nationwide, at times for the sex and violence it contains, but mostly for the legal issues it raises. The Bible. "You have people who feel that if a school library buys a copy of the Bible, it's a violation of church and state," says James LaRue, who directs the Office for Intellectual Freedom for the American Library Association, which released its annual 10 top snapshot of "challenged" books on Monday, part of the association's "State of Libraries Report" for 2016.

USA Today reports that on Monday, Jordan Wooley, a straight-A student at the West Memorial Junior High School, and her classmates were told by their reading teacher that God is not real and that answers to the contrary would result in a poor grade.

By: Walker Wildmon As I was reading an article on the Indy Star news site regarding the American Family Association's (AFA) placing Angie's List on its anti-Christian bigotry map because they adamantly opposed the Indiana Religious Freedom Restoration Act, I noticed something encouraging. Near the end of the article it mentioned an atheist group that is also on our map, and how the founder of that group recently came to faith in Jesus Christ. (Screengrab via YouTube) I proceeded to confirm this by contacting the man himself, Steve Tillman. Before I knew it we were texting back and forth regarding this story. Consequently, I can confirm that a former head of an atheist group has come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord! This is a huge encouragement!
The Good News Club, affiliated with Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF), is offered as an after school program at Fairbanks Elementary School in Churchville. Parents grant permission for their children to attend the club, which teaches lessons from the Bible using music, games and other activities.
“Our ministry is dedicated to helping children in 150 countries around the world to know God and learn from the Bible,” a permission slip from the organization reads. However, when local atheists found out about the program, they decided to launch an after school group of their own for children. The Better News Club is now offering the program Young Skeptics to elementary school students, likewise with the permission of parents. |
